Telemarketing at Navitas Safety

If you are self-motivated and find it easy to strike up a conversation with people then a role as a telemarketer at Navitas Safety might just be what you’re looking for! Navitas Safety are rapidly growing and already count some of the world’s best-known brands as clients (world domination is our aim *raises pinky finger*). We need you to support our ongoing growth!

So, what's the role?

You will be the first point of contact for anyone interested in learning more about our products and services, helping to capture their requirements and booking a demonstration with a member of the sales team. You will work alongside other Telemarketers, as part of our lovely Marketing team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly contacting inbound leads, capturing their requirements, BANT qualifying and booking a demonstration as soon as possible with the sales team/demonstrators. 
  • Contacting potential customers via Phone, Email and Text messages. 
  • Maintaining detailed records of conversations via the CRM system. 
  • Outbound calling to potential customers, introducing Navitas Safety’s services and support.

Now, some more about you.

You’ll love speaking to people and be confident and articulate over the phone and have excellent written communication skills. You will have no problem encouraging conversation and being able to avoid any ‘awkward silences’ though asking open-ended questions and being able to keep the conversation flowing with your personality and wit.

Ideally you’ll have previous experience in a telemarketing or equivalent role, but this is not essential. Ideally you will have some experience working in hospitality as this will help you to relate to customers on the phone.

Essential:

  • Self motivated and driven to succeed
  • Talkative and confident on the phone
  • Organised; you need to be able to manage your time effectively and keep the CRM system up to date with follow up actions + notes
  • Flexibility with your time of work; as we work in the hospitality sector, this isn’t a 9-5 job, you will be expected to work flexible hours to reach prospective customers when they are available
  • Resilient; not deterred by rejection or difficult conversations
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Competent with technology

Desirable:

  • Keen interest in the hospitality sector/experience working in hospitality
  • Previous experience as a telemarketer or equivalent
  • Previous experience promoting a SaaS based product/solution
  • Knowledge of Google Apps and help desk support software advantageous
